Great storytelling. It's one of the oldest storylines out there -- where are all the good, decent men to date?! But these two make it work -- I cringed inside everytime the ex kept showing back up in her life. Thank you for a good show!

typical Life drama

We all wonder why an intelligent good looking woman can't find a decent date. This is a funny empathetical play that should appeal to anybody. Well performed but the female lead could project a bit more, a little hard to hear at times. Good sketch comedy that portays the simple woes as well as the very particular expectations of the typical single woman, liked the end!!

It's not the story, it's the telling

The female lead isn't someone like me, but I've been there. I especially enjoyed watching the male actor play a series of jerks, creeps, and bad ideas. "Date-free for two weeks" was cute, if twelve-steppy. Best points were the use of space and lighting to make the simple set support the stories.

Three Times Is Not The Charm!

They say that three times is the charm, but in the case of this show clearly not when it comes to relationships. This show takes us through a review of the failed dating life of a "girl", played by Neale Kimmel. She gives us a generally comic overview of her failed relationships, but also we do see some serious reflective moments from her character as we move through this show.

Jesse Bond is the other actor in this production. He has the task of creating three men for us - the men that Neale's character has dated. Bond does this well, each of his creations have enough of their unique mannerisms to allow us to have an easy transition from the one-to-other. However, they all seem to share a mania for being self-centered. Bond also gives each creation enough traits that he makes them initially appealing in some manner.

This show works because we have all been down the path of relationships that fail. Sometimes we find ourselves in a pattern of such relationships and we we engage in self-questioning like that of Neale's character.

This duo is one you will want to see more of.

boy could I relate to this!

I went into this show expecting a few laughs but was surprised that this piece had so much heart! Sure we've all had bad dates, but this piece really got to me and went much deeper than that, so much that I was in tears by the time the girl leaves her baggage behind (literally)to find her true self. Yes it is funny, but it's more than that. The talented and easy on the eyes duo of actors make this work on a deeper level too. Very enjoyable.

The funny stories of a woman and her loser boyfriends. Nicely written, nicely performed.

Character shines through age old story

We've all had bad dates and although they truly make for a good story between friends, I rarely want to pay money for someone to tell me the same story I could get for free. I kind of feel like that's what I got here. Sure, the characters were strong and very likable...at least the female character was...not her jerk dates. But that was really the only redeeming part of the show. Instead of getting a story that was truly entertaining, I got a story I've heard a bunch of different times.

Would I recommend the show? Sure. It's definitely not a waste of money even if you know what's going to happen. The characters are rich and fun and funny even if the script leaves something to be desired.
