5 Stars - Very Highly Recommended

"I could easily sit through another whole hour of that," said Mom, the second it was over. A hour stuffed from one end to the other with dance, dance and more dance. Dance with a hearty sense of humor about itself and not a whiff of pretentiousness. Some beautiful "normal" dance, too. Random elements and supporting characters popping up in all the corners of the audience's field of vision-somehow managing that tricky balance of adding texture rather than being distracting. A very rich, widely varied world of dance that's a lot of fun to visit.

Another one both mom and I would gladly see again.

A kaleidoscopic fusion of well-whipped dance, theatre and music spiced with surpise and parody. An eclectic experience that you'll need to see twice! A rehabbed version of the show you loved in 2007.

Conundrum Rehabbed will feature two premieres of choreographed works, two new major parodies, and several faves from last years show. New interludes will keep the show flowing without those awkward pauses that involve the audience sitting in the dark while the dancers change costumes. Two of these interludes will include ballroom dances by the C-Street Dance Company

Joseph Bingham (director/choreographer/impresario*) produced his first show, Conundrum, in the 2007 Minnesota Fringe. He returns with his second show Conundrum Rehabbed and will also appear is the show Ars Longa, Vita Brevis (Art is Long, Life is Short) choreographed by Kari Jensen. In May, Joseph completed his first year at the University of Minnesota's Dance Program and was recently elected to the position of Publicist for the Theatre Department's Xperimental Theatre Company. He also completed his fourth season with the Continental Ballet Company where he also sereves as the office manager for the School of Continental Ballet Company. Since joining CBC, Joseph has danced numerous roles, but select favorites include: Russian and Nutcracker Prince in the Nutcracker; Puss in Boots in Sleeping Beauty; Spanish in Swan Lake; Work in Coppelia; Fall in Cinderella; and the Lead Cowboy in Rodeo. He was also added to CBC's teachin staff in January. As time permits, Joseph teaches for the Youth Dance Ensemble in Burnsville.

Out of all the fringe shows I have seen this is my favorite. It's funny and they have really good dancers and actors. I definatly reccomend this show for anyone wanting a good laugh.

Conundrum is a dance production that captures the shear joy, pleasure, energy, physicality, and excitement of dance and movement. You'll find you want to move in tempo with it. Pleased also to see members of the Dance Hall Days from 2006 Fringe as part of performance. Look forward to see more of both groups, hopefully together. (PS Dance Hall Day folks be part of "Fianle", you deserve to be in it!)

I loved the fun this show had with itself and with styles and traditions of dance and costume. It was full of surprises and fresh variations on a theme (although when doing tap variations the taps need to keep tapping, I think). I looked forward to each new scene. A great energy-reviver!

This show provided a mélange of dance styles, most performed VERY well. The Order of Events consisted of 18 different dance numbers, some with 4-5 dancers, others with the full cast of 16. The styles of dance were varied, and included Broadway, ballet, jazz, tap, ballroom, cabaret, hip hop, and even a nod to Michael Jackson with some “Thriller” moves. The dancers each possessed a different level of aptitude, but most of the dancers were really quite good, and 6 of them were outstanding. I loved this show’s format, as it allowed me to experience the true beauty of dance that I have just not taken the time to experience before.

I usually stay far away from dance. I just don't get modern dance. But I saw the Fringe-For-All preview of this show and it totally hooked me.

I liked that each number had a clear theme to it. I loved the variety and the mix of traditional dances like the tango and the Charleston with stuff like "Thriller" and "What is Love." The program explains to you exactly what you're seeing, in case you think you vaguely remember that as being Swan Lake but you're not quite sure.

This is as good as a dance show gets for me. Loved every minute of it!

I enjoyed it!!

I loved the variety of styles and types and ages of dancers it offered, and the great energy in each of the numbers. I loved the parodies so much that at times got a little bored with the straight forward numbers and wished they were funny, too. But overall, it was a really fun show!

go see this show. It is eclectic and fun. I have to say it was little odd to see the older guy dancing with the younger ones but it just added to the merriment of the show. This would be a great show to see when you have had a full day and just need to relax and enjoy something. Good work!

Every bit as good as their performance in the 2007 Fringe. A delightful, witty performance encorporating everything from ballroom to tap to ballet. Fast paced with a spinkling of comedy.
