No...they didn't get the encore.

What a wonderful pairing of dancers - from the first number to the last, I couldn't take my eyes off of any performer. Felt this show really fed me - and made me want MORE DANCE. Modern and subtle Tap share a stage and a perfect balance.
If this is the Encore, GO!!!

I can't say enough about this show -- fabulous chroeography, gorgeous dancers, infectious performances, just wonderful. If I hadn't seen the final show, I would go again. If this is the Encore for the Jeune Lune, be sure to go. I still have 3-4 more dance shows to see this weekend, but of the 5 dance shows I've seen so far this Fringe, this is by far my favorite.

What a perfect way to spend an hour of your life! Kaleena's oh-so-musical tapping alternating with Ned's riveting modern was delicious. All the dancers were lost in the dance and they took us with them. What a ride! When it ended I just wanted more, more, more...

Never have I seen the body exemplify and compliment music and emotion so gracefully, energetically, and with such passion. Translation of words through movement has never provided better definitions. Breathtaking choreographic debut by Ned Sturgis. Can't wait to see more. Shoes off to you all! This is a show you just need to see!
Graceful, Energetic & Fun

Wow......You must see this one hour spectacular, high energy show. The combination of the sound of tap shoes on a hard surface, with the graceful silence of the male performances is unique and clever. All the performers look like they are having so much fun. I would have been happy to have watched for at least another hour of such a high standard of performance. Congratulations to everyone who took part, a real thrill to watch you all.

Kaleena Miller's solo tap was probably the highlight of the evening for me but by no means the only exquisite performance. Every number was suberbly cooreographer and performed by a very lively and energetic troup. Congratulations to all, well done.
Tap? Tap!

Wow! Pure energy and sparkling choreography by Kaleena and Ned. I don't like tap dance. I still don't like tap dance. But I loved this this fusion of tap and modern dance. Go see!
More, please

First off, this was great. The modern dance was powerful and engaging; the tap dancing energizing and seemingly effortless. Especially good were the male pas de deux and the big number with 10 female tap dancers (and one awesome kid), as well as the perfect music selections. The male trio and the modern/tap call-and-answer could each have been fleshed out a bit more, but were still quite good. You'll leave this show feeling happy.
An Impressive Garland

It is to die for when Ned and Kaleena bring contemporary modern and nouveau tap together in the title piece of the show, set to classical music reconstructed by Bobby McFerrin and Yo Yo Ma. The two dancers begin at diagonally opposite corners of the stage in their respective dance forms. Somehow by the end the two forms have melded seamlessly into a lovely little duet that blends wit with charm and blends virtuosity with understatement. Five other pieces in the program combine to make a garland of impressive dance but the magical confluence of tap and modern occurs really only in the one piece. There is a large-group zippy finale, like frosting.
Great combination of styles

I don't know a thing about dance...although I was pretty sure that "tap" wasn't "cool". This show showed me otherwise. Ned's modern dance is disciplined and captivating and Kaleena's tap is impressive even to a guy who doesn't understand how hard it is. At first, the two styles seem at odds with one another. But when you see these two great performers combine their crafts, it totally works in a lot of unexpected ways! The finale is high-energy, exciting and a lot of fun. This show has a great sound track, but all the dances succeed in totally transcening their music.
Stunning.

This was a breathtaking collection of work that gave me goosebumps one moment and had me laughing right along with the dancers the next. The joy these performers radiate for their work is nothing if not contagious.

Fantastic. The most professional Fringe show I've seen. Both choreography and performance are beautiful, sophisticated, full of heart and authenticity, as well as humor. The music and costumes are great - being performed in the charming Theatre de la Jeune Lune doesn't hurt either! The combo of modern and tap works perfectly. This is a fully finished, professional presentation full of joy and power and inspiration. A ne pas manquer! Not to be missed! How often do you get to watch a tap off involving ten gorgeous women!
