WHY?

Unless you have brilliant timing don't try doing classic comedy bits. If you wanted to do Monty Python, take it and do it in a new refreshing way. Make it your own. The animation wasn't Terry Gillium's and it was interesting. The band and singing were great. The cast couldn't make the material funny. I know the material by heart and the spark wasn't there.

Very funny!

I am a rabid Monty Python fan, and I had a great time at this show. Their arrangements of these funny Monty Python skits were super. Many of the reviews were critical because "it had already been done" by the original Monty Python crew. But if that was the criteria for putting on a show, then we would be missing out on a lot of great shows. This was fun. And the music was great too.

It's hard to imagine this was the best show at the Intermedia Arts this season. It was pretty weak tea. And they left off the funniest bit in the "Eric the half-a-bee skit. Nice try but no cigar.

I love Monty Python. I really liked these actors, they are very funny, talented and did it all very well. All in all it was a good show, but I wish they had done orignal work or at least an adaptation for the fringe.

I really wanted to like this since I support teen shows and am a Python fan. But it is a word-for-word rehash of Monty Python skits: nothing new here. These kids are talented and deserve their own material.

It's Monty Python without "Full Frontal Nudity".

I had my doubts about a bunch of high school kids doing Monty Python skits, but, by God, they did them! And they did them well! And they made me laugh! And they showed me just how amazing and bizarre and zany those Brits were! And so were these kids! Bravo!

It's fun to see young people performing old comedy and having such a good time doing it... the uniformly charismatic cast delivers a performance energetic and buoyant enough to smooth over any rough spots. Lots of talent here—I'd definitely like to see more from this troupe in the future.

High School kids do some of my favorite Monty Python bits, with original animations. While uneven, I got caught up in it and laughed and clapped rhythmically with family members. The live band rounds them up to four stars. A Shockwave Radio Theater Review.

awesome. these guys should be proud of themselves. it's great to see this material again. it stands up after all these years. you might not think it will, but the cast and director rock it. go see it, go see it. if not for a good time and a great many laughs, then to support these kids making theatre. that's what's most important now. support the next generation of performers, writers, directors, creators. they're highly talented and if any them are thinking of a career in the theatre they shouldn't hesitate for a second. go and have fun.

This is a nostalgia act, so you already know pretty much right away if you're in the audience for it. I went it suspecting that I was going to hate it, but actually found myself being kind of charmed by the whole endeavor. The nature of the project means that the most they can achieve is to be an acceptably amusing imitation, and they are -- but there's enough talent and enthusiasm on display here that I feel cheated of the opportunity to see them do something original.
