Happy ending

This was the perfect show to see for the Fringe Encore. I was fringed out, and had just seen two abstract pieces in a row, so my brains were tired. Some raucous fun was exactly what was needed, and that is Lili's speciality. Thanks, ladies. And delivery man. And thumping sound fellows. I had a blast.

Well, there was energy and spirit. I loved the Canoe song. The overall production quality was pretty high,,, it just didn't DO anything for me.
Nice to see this one with a packed house

This kind of show thrives on the hootin' and hollerin' in the audience, which there was plenty of. What blew me away was how well-produced a show this was. The acts, the music, the costumes were all fantastic. The three-piece band was great. The host was great. The two guys that cleaned up discarded clothing between acts were great. It was visually interesting and you didn't have to think too hard. This show was one of the most fun to attend.
Wow!

When are the guys going to strip? They were entertaing, but really shouldn't they take stuff off too?
What a surprise

It's true. I'm a jaded old Fringer that's seen it all. I reluctantly went to this not expecting much. I mean honestly, isn't this just a show with a bunch of strippers? While it does feature acts that remove clothing this is hardly the contemporary example of exploited women swinging around a pole. It's wildly liberating, intriguingly creative and great fun! There's also a multitude of other talented musicians, singers and comedians that make up the contemporary variety show format. I might actually go see this again. Way to breath new life into the Fringe!
Refreshing!!!

Over the last few years I've seen a lot of shows claiming to be Burlesque, most of which are terrible. Not the case with these folks! This is good old time fun with great costuming, smart humor, inventive choreography and attention to detail. The band is fantastic and the singing is lovely.
There's little wonder why The Underpants Show has become a Fringe favorite. Go see this show. That is if you're luck enough to get in.
An a"peel"ing, cheeky show!

Folks, these ladies (and gents) have chutzpah. That being said, the audience at their Thurs. show was not as generous as they could have been, and the audience's shyness or lack of enthusiasm (not sure which) affected the performers' level of enthusiasm on the stage.
What's best about this show is that it's not all about taking clothes off. The performers don't throw the sex at you, they let it tease you through creative song choice and costume themes - the whole point of burlesque. The sung pieces are cerebral enough that the audience is forced engage and actively listen to encounter the humor (and it is there in abundance!). Funny Bunny, however, would better live up to her name with a little more dedication to her character to carry off her routine. A hidden surprise in this show is Ned the Magnificent and his "Hello Dolly" piece, and special snaps go to Nadine Dubois, who wraps the show up into one great...er...package! Definitely worth seeing.
Purrrrre Joy!

This troupe REALLY knows how to put on a show; inventive, varied acts, great performers, fun costumes, dirty jokes, polished numbers, sex and sizzle. What more could you want?
I saw a Sunday afternoon performance and they ATE UP EVERY SECOND of it.
Loved it.
My favorite Fringe show ever

This fun burlesque/variety show has something for everyone (as long as you're over 18). The ladies put on a fine show, as do the "supporting cast" of men, and the band's got chops. Nice integration of live music and recorded music. Go see this show, and bring your friends with you!
