The Pizpor Show
This is what the Fringe is all about! by Brian Kitzerow
Rating: 5 kitties
What fun. There is no way to piegon hole this hidden gem. It is absolutely the most unique premise for an improvisational comedy show that I\'ve ever seen. Pizpor, and his side-kick Dan are street performers (whether they are just playing that part or if they actually are is impossible to distinguish. If they\'re not, they should be - they\'d make a bucket of money with every show) from Scan-da-hovia (or where ever)that goat you along with their jokes, tricks and audience by-play. Good, simple, fun, crisp, and very unique. The more the audience interacts, the better the show gets. I\'m giving it 5 kitties for complete orginality and being like nothing else the Fringe has ever had! If your really want to go outside the box, this is a must see.
Two Bowls of Cereal and Some Bacon
wow by Brian Kitzerow
Rating: 5 kitties
I give this guy a ton of credit. He bares his soul and pulls me along in the most captivating story of his childhood.
I really like artists that are willing to try something and see how people will react to them. I have no idea if this is a true story or not. But it doesn't matter. The fact that he can tell the story so well is enough for me. This is why I love the fringe - people like this.
Give this one your consideration. It's why you're here.
The Actor's Nightmare
goofy, oddball by Brian Kitzerow

Loved it. It was just so weird. Laughed a LOT!
Sure to Cure, Dr. Amelia's Medicine Show
I feel cured!!! by Brian Kitzerow
Rating: 5 kitties
This is what the Fringe should be about - people that have an idea, nurture it, develop it, and then put it out on stage for us to enjoy. This was a endearing creative ploy of a feel-good snake oil salesperson. Be sure to check this one out just for the fun of it. Could have used another song or two, but fun all the way around.
One thing I noted as I sat there - I wasn't sure if I was supposed to answer her questions that were directed right at me.
Oh, and bring an extra dollar - it will cleanse what ails you.
The Tenth Muse
Adorable by Brian Kitzerow

This is why we come to the Fringe - artists like Elisa. I always enjoy it when one person can conceive of an idea, nutures it, develops it, creates it, and works to make it her artistic expression. How can anyone find fault with that?
This is a charming piece of song and story-telling. Not everyone can express their lifes journey in this manner, and to do so this well is why we give artists like her a chance. Maybe it's not for everyone, but if you're truly interested in solo artists giving their all, this is one show you'll enjoy.
Highly recommended.
Cherry Cherry Lemon
Wonderful by Brian Kitzerow
Rating: 4 kitties
This was amazing. The actors were perfect. The story was compelling. The direction fantastic. I loved it. The only reason I knocked it down 1 kitty was because it was just a little too sexual for my personal taste. But other than that is was thrill to witness. Check it out - a must see.
Schrödinger's Cat Must Die!
I wish I would have had him in school by Brian Kitzerow
Rating: 4 kitties
If this fits in your schedule, have some fun at this wacky physics lecture. It's as oddball as you'd expect from a story line that revolves around quantum mechanics. Just the fact that someone could conceive of a show on that topic should be enough to get you in the door and check out something that is different and fun.
Tech Support: The musical
Ironic by Brian Kitzerow
Rating: 3 kitties
Great premise - a musical about those annoying phone calls you have to make to 'customer service.' This is what I love about the fringe anything goes. The lead character is a fantastic actor. But the night I saw it there seemed to be tech issues - but maybe that was what was supposed to happen. Irony.
Squawk
I didn't get it. by Brian Kitzerow
Rating: 2 kitties
I give the actors a lot of credit - they did a good job. As far as plot goes, and I don't mean to be too critical, but I didn't get the point of it all. The guy next to me fell asleep.
