A family with issues is forced to spend an evening together during a power outage. Secrets are revealed, emotions are confronted and everyone is forced to realize the faults within themselves.

****NOTE**** THIS SHOW ONLY RUNS 30-35 MINUTES!!!!!

Helen Henning is a mayor hopeful/lawyer first, and mother second. Tom Henning is her son, who is days away from failing out of school. Sam is his twin, who puts school before almost anythign. Mary is the youngest, and only wants her family to be happy.
This family, who never spends anytime together, is forced to stay in their apartment all night while the power is out.

As the evening progresses, the loose threads that held them together begin to unravel, as each family member realizes their faults, and how little or how much they care for eachother. Tom's sarcasm, laced with truth, only cause more problems for this already troubled family.

It is the family's unwillingness to be honest which causes Tom to lose control hurting everyone more then he intended. However, it is Mary's wisdom that gives him hope for the family.

One act to protect the family leaves them more damaged then ever before.

The concept was cool, but it needs some fine tuning.

This show has some potential, but first fix some things. One, don't have Mom run for mayor of NYC, have her run for mayor of Paterson, NJ. Second, you didn't make the storm pay off (besides a power outage) and the murderous guy on the loose never shows, and three, a lot of the relationships just need to be developed and made more real. Nice start.

A couple of the actors were quite good but the cast as a whole did not bring the show together. The script has potential but needs some work.

Disruption to my schedule.

Would have walked out

Bad writing, overacting, stupid premise. The performance I saw was sparsely attended, but I considered walking out, and I probably would have if it would not have disrupted things too much.

On paper, the plot looks interesting enough; all the elements are there in the script to make it an intersting little yarn. Maybe it was just opening night mechanics, but no one popped in their performance.
