Sigal finds a brilliant way to talk about life, love, money and a slue of other subjects that make up the human condition.
She is a first class actress that will captivate you.
I wish i had seen it sooner so i could talk about it thru out the festival.
Remember her name and look for her next show, I'm sure it will be something not to be missed.

This is what the Fringe should be about - people that have an idea, nurture it, develop it, and then put it out on stage for us to enjoy. This was a endearing creative ploy of a feel-good snake oil salesperson. Be sure to check this one out just for the fun of it. Could have used another song or two, but fun all the way around.
One thing I noted as I sat there - I wasn't sure if I was supposed to answer her questions that were directed right at me.
Oh, and bring an extra dollar - it will cleanse what ails you.

To hey with the platitudes. You must see this show. But get there in time to line up behind me and my friends. A wonderful creation and excellent presentation in which Sigal Shoham renders her heart and soul to the audience in exchange for their commitment to self. Did I say it's fun and good for you too?

OK, so I am a sucker for one person shows, particularly by a smart, engaging, funny actress who plays the banjo and writes original songs. Sigal Shoham is a blend of Whoopie Goldberg and Anne Lamont and provides an entertaining, tongue in cheek, edgy performance that is totally engaging. Head on over to The Playwright's Center and get yourself cured!

Dr. Amelia hits you in your third eye with songs and takeoffs on evangelistic money grubbing new age salvationists. She coulda hit a lot harder - there is a lot of material here to make fun of.

If you've got "the itch, the stitch, the palsy or gout" this show wants you to buy the latest alternative treatment. No palliative is perfect, nor is the huckster on center stage, and she tells a lot about it. Not exactly a medicine show, and not enough banjo, but there is plenty to love about Dr. Amelia's therapeutic regimen.

Ms. Shoham proves unequivocally that laughter is the best medicine as she guides you through a delightful meditation on self-image and desire. And she plays the banjo! What more could you ask?

First, it's the language. The writing is rich, fun and well-crafted. I especially enjoyed the song lyrics which framed each scene. Sigal talks about love, money and other desires in a way that provokes and disarms. She is sneaky, getting to you by revealing her own vulnerabilities. I laughed. I thought. I'm still thinking.

Stop wondering! The sure cure worked. Engaging monologue brought out chuckles, connections, and reflection. An entertaining perspetive on how obsession with health and self influences all aspects of life.
