Drive Me To Arson
An artistic success by Fringe Binge
Rating: 4 kitties
If your looking for a slightly edgy drama, Drive Me to Arson is the show for you. It's a phycological journey through the mind of an arsonist. The acting is impeccable. The artistic blocking and transitions phenomenal. See this show.

Cosmo the Musical or How to Ruin Your Life by Having Unrealistic Expectations
Funny, but trashy by Fringe Binge
Rating: 3 kitties
I wish Cosmo the Musical was written with more taste and class. I have kept in mind the magazine they are poking fun at is tasteless as well. I could have gone without the explicit songs about sex. Several of the characters were boring and futile. I admit the show had it's funny moments, occuring while I wasn't in shock from the vulgarity of the production. The reappearing handheld microphone was a clever touch.

Flops! A New Musical Revue
Almost another flop! by Fringe Binge
Rating: 3 kitties
For the most part, this show was not worth seeing. All but a few of the musical numbers were incredibly boring. The slide projections about the failed plays were the most interesting aspect of the performance. I did however, recieve a rice krispy treat at the end of the play. That gets them an extra kitty.

Paul Bunyan: An Unlikely Beginning to a Tall Tale
I can't handle the repetition! by Fringe Binge
Rating: 3 kitties
This show got me half way to the point of enjoying myself. I began nodding off on my friends shoulder durring the repetitive scenes. Some children seemed to be giddy from it, so I suppose it did it's job in that sense. The puppets were fantastic. the actors delievered skilled voiceovers while wielding them. I had a problem with watching Paul Bunyan do his morning routine over and over again. That got old really fast.

War of the Posers
Pompous entertainment by Fringe Binge
Rating: 3 kitties
I can say that I honestly enjoyed this show. After awhile however, the pompous banter gets exauhsting. Halfway through, the voice inflection becomes annoying. This production doesn't have much of a plot, but I will say that these young people obviously have alot of talent. The comedy was at times, spot on. I especially enjoyed the toupee bit. Georgie was my favorite character. See this show if your interested in a high society farse.

The Damn Audition
Over glorified and unoriginal by Fringe Binge
Rating: 3 kitties
I had high expectations for The Damn Audition, awaiting nothing short of genius from Joseph Scrimshaw. Tragically, I was disappointed with an unoriginal plot and excessively foul language. I refused to allow the hyped up, laugh at every joke audience to fool me. I feel as though I have seen several versions of this show before. I will say however that the actors were talented and gave good performances. Nothing to be embarassed about. If this one sells out, don't dismay. You won't be missing much.

Hollywood Hot!
Hollywood Not! by Fringe Binge
Rating: 2 kitties
I do not recommend this show. The script was weak and did not allow the actors to deliver solid performances. The exceptions being Avi Aharoni and Roneet Aliza Rahamim. Avi played the role of Josh the butterfly blogger with comedic skill. I also applaud Roneet for her fantastic portrayal of Jessica's Personal Assistant. I found the set and costumes to be lacking, even by Fringe standards. This show was not worth my time, or money.

KRAP-FM: The Adventures of a Radio Station Receptionist
Mildly funny by Fringe Binge
Rating: 2 kitties
I don't know what I expected from a show called KRAP-FM: The Adventures of a Radio Station Receptionist. Perhaps More laughs? Or more interesting adventures? The production didn't have much of a plot and most of the acting was mediocre. It was hard not to yawn durring the Dolly Parton bit. I reccomend filling the slot in your schedule with something worthwile.
