One Out Of Four

Sometimes you find talented people in the strangest places. This happened to my wife and I at the 8/12 "I'm Making This Up As I Go" show. Of the four comedians that performed, Joey Vincent was by far the stand out performer. He was creative, engaging and just plain funny. Four Kitties to you friend! The over three comedians had their moments but just didn't compliment the talent that Vincent brought to the show.
wish i could make it up differently

because i am a christian who appreciates the way god made people, i was delighted by the distinctiveness and uniqueness of the performers----what was disturbing and redundant is the topic of male body parts to try to illicit a laugh from us---granted god did have a sense of humor when he made the male body(smile) but we don't need a lewd reminder of it every five minutes---just not my topic for laughs---but they have great potential using other topics!

I saw friday nights performance. I wish I could give out kitties for each performers. WENDY MAYBURY would have gotten a 4 kittie (5 kitties are hard to get from me!) and the others would have gotten a 1 or 2.
So I went for a 3. If I had a filler slot, I would see this show, you never know what your going to get with stand up!

Once saw a show so bad I had to not only run away - but get out of earshot. Called that one, "The Show That Made Me Wish For Death." This show wasn't that bad - but, though I love you like a son, Sam - can't drop more than 2 kitties.
Kept thinking about how much more I'd enjoy a nice slice of Luce Pizza. So I ducked out before the last act.
Offended; Schmoffended - I've been in shows formed on 2 weeks notice - have attended umpteen comedy shows. Fringies end up payin' $12 for Monday Nite Free Open-Mike quality...and that's just not right.
Would have preferred Improv

Sunday Aug 7th show (every show has different stand up comedians). I wish I had avoided this one. I guess I'm just not a stand up comedy kind of guy. I will admit to having a few chuckles but no real lol moments. Andy Erickson had a cute charm; but for me, Dan Davila was the shining star of the 4 showcased (I'll give him Three Kitties). He was the most polished and knew his material without notes.

Very inventive last comedian was bizarre and engaging and I would actively try to see him again.
