Box office policies

Advance sales

Advance sales start July 1, 2011 at noon.

Tickets may be bought in advance through links to OvationTix from the Fringe website, by calling the Ovation ticket line at (866) 811-4111, or at the door starting 30 minutes before show time. Single tickets, Ultra Passes, 5-show cards and 10-show cards can all be bought in advance. A $2 reservation fee is charged for each single ticket reservation and pass sales. Pass reservations are subject to a $1 reservation fee.

We sell a maximum of 70 percent of the theater’s capacity for each performance in advance, guaranteeing that there are always tickets available for walk-up purchases. Advance sales stop at 10 a.m. for shows starting before 5:30 p.m. Shows starting later than 5:30 p.m. go off sale at 2:30 p.m. that day.

Payment methods

Fringe accepts cash, checks, and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover) at the door.

Will call

Single tickets purchased in advance will be available for pickup at the venue box office 30 minutes before show time on the day of the show. Once tickets are purchased, they are guaranteed and will NOT be resold.

Buttons purchased with a single ticket can be picked up with the ticket(s) at the venue box office.

Ultra Passes and punch cards purchased BEFORE July 25 will be mailed to the patron at the address they provide, along with a printed festival catalog and any buttons they purchase.

Ultra Passes and punch cards purchased on and after July 25 can be picked up at Fringe Central (Intermedia Arts, 2822 Lyndale Av S, Minneapolis) at the concierge desk DURING the festival (weekdays, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; weekends noon to 8 p.m.).

Refunds

Fringe does not offer ticket refunds.

Late seating

There is NO LATE SEATING at Minnesota Fringe.

Kids at Fringe

Every person entering the house must have a ticket (paid or complimentary)—including infants.

Children 5 and under are only allowed at shows designated “Kids' Fringe” (list of these shows are available on Fringe website by using the search function).

There is a recommended minimum age for each show (see individual show pages on our website). It is up to the parent/guardian to make the final decision; Fringe makes no guarantees about content.
